The CONNECTIVITY PROJECT is a documentary series of short films produced and co-directed by Rose Madrone, along with an amazing team of filmmakers, with the mission of creating a better understanding of how what we each do makes a difference.
By sharing stories focused on the interconnected manner in which the world functions, and the ripple effects of our individual choices, the purpose of CONNECTIVITY PROJECT is to illustrate that SMALL actions can indeed create LARGE impacts.

"When we try to pick out anything by itself,
we find it hitched to everything else in the universe"
- John Muir
The mission CONNECTIVITY PROJECT addresses is that ever-present question: "Does what I do matter? Does it make any difference?"
Our purpose here is to show that, YES, our individual choices do make a difference! CONNECTIVITY PROJECT is a series of documentary shorts -- currently we have three 14-minute films. We interviewed luminaries and everyday people in the worlds of science, social activism, spirituality and economics in order to share stories focused on the interconnected manner in which the world functions. The purpose of this film project is to create awareness about the ripple effects of our individual choices and how small actions can create big impacts.
Featuring interviews and commentary by Fritjof Capra, Jon Young, Lois Gibbs, and many others!
"Everything is Connected"
We explore how different cultures and faiths from around the world have a common, time-honored awareness of an interconnected way of being. More than a current issue, the notion of interconnectedness is one that spans cultures and times.
"Speaking Out!"
An inspired high school student is influenced by the actions of Lois Gibbs (grass roots activist and organizer from Love Canal in the 1970's) to advocate for clean air for her school and community in North Portland.
"Plants Have Wings"
Our reliance on them and, in turn, their reliance on us. This episode shows how we are a distinct part of the web of life that directly impacts the continued survival and success of pollinator species.
